Computer Hackers Meet For Annual Congress

You can now get paid to ‘stalk’ people on social media. In the quirky modern sense. Not actual legitimate stalking. That’s illegal.

As a man of honour and respect, I have little time for snooping on other people’s cyber presence, and even less inclination. That’s just me, though.

Judging by the fact you can now be employed to do so, however, proves the fad is more real than I’d like to think.

Andy Bartram, from Maidstone, Kent, has launched his own investigation agency to funnel out all the fake profiles and trolls so as to keep normal singletons safe.

The 46-year-old set up Vet Your Date earlier this month and charges £20 a pop for each pre-date search of your Tinder or Bumble match.

He told Kent Live:

I have done those kinds of searches as an intelligence analyst and while I was watching Catfish on MTV I thought it could potentially be a good idea to do something similar here.

Anybody could do it, but in the same way if you need your boiler fixed, you would get a professional in because of safety.

I have spent a number of years as a criminal intelligence analyst and I have had police training.

That gives me the power to interrogate web pages to get results back.

Andy, a father of one, is confident of his ‘stalking’ skills he learnt with the police and is eager to put it to good use.

He added:

Although I set it up as a vetting thing for dating it could also be used for other purposes. Online dating is such a massive industry these days.

I have got lots of friends who use it quite a lot and there are numerous different apps people use.

It is all swipe right and swipe left.

It comes just after Catfish host Max Joseph announced last night (August 8) he would be leaving the popular MTV show which made him famous.

He told Twitter:

Hey guys, the time has come, sadly, for me to move on from Catfish.

Working on this show for the last seven years has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’ve learned a lot about myself, my country and human nature in general.

For a while now I have been straddling two careers as TV host and filmmaker and, while this level of busy-ness is a dream come true, my life can no longer sustain it. With Catfish still going strong after 7 seasons, 115 episodes, 31 specials and showing no sign of slowing down, I feel it is finally the time for me to make my exit.

It really was a f****** blast and I am eternally grateful for every second of it.

Reckon you’ve got what it takes to replace Max, for on a much smaller and cheaper scale, to protect Kent citizens from online wrong-un’s? Check out their Facebook page to see what’s what.

Good luck and keep doing you, Andy.

Argentine footballer, Lionel Messi, showed off his accuracy during some training when he casually kicked a ball 50 yards across the football pitch to nutmeg a reporter.

One of the world’s best players, the footballer appeared in Adidas’ latest advert ‘Here To Create’, which was shared on Twitter yesterday (August 17).

Adidas haven’t specified exactly what they’re ‘here to create’, but if it’s shock and awe, then they’ve used a good video for it.

In the ad, Messi appears to be at football training. He kicks the ball into the air, glances over to a reporter on the other side of the pitch before kicking the ball again, this time making it arc towards the reporter who’s 50 yards away.

Watch the casual performance in the video below:

Messi just walks away like he knew where he was going to place it all along – nothing really that new there then!

The ball lands and bounced towards the seemingly unsuspecting reporter, slowing to a roll as it continues directly through the man’s legs.

The reporter looks down at the ball, then turns to find the culprit behind the nutmeg.

A lot of viewers have been blown away by the scene, commenting  of their amazement at the video.

One person wrote:

Magical as always. King

Another tweeter suggested Messi wasn’t even human, writing:

The best Alien in this planet [sic]

A third seemed very confident in his view of the former Barcelona captain:

Leo Messi is the best football player in history and the best football player in the world.

The video has been liked more than 60,000 times, and shared over 30,000 times on Twitter, but a lot of people aren’t entirely convinced by the display.

Given that the video is being used in an advert, some people are claiming it’s actually been edited so it just appears as if the footballer can kick a ball through someone’s legs across the full width of a pitch.

Admittedly, if he’d missed, it probably wouldn’t be a very impressive advert for Adidas.

One eagle-eyed viewer suggested the shadows in the video meant it couldn’t possibly be real, writing:

Its a fake video because when Messi juggles the ball there is shadow of the ball. So Messi fans don’t get too exited.

Another said something along the same lines:

Don’t get me wrong,I am a huuuuge Messi fan,
But this has to be fake…why?
The ball lost its shadow.
This is an ed. [sic]

Messi is no stranger to the nutmeg, and some fans have been sharing previous examples of his quality on the pitch:

It seems the Argentine player isn’t afraid of making a fool out of anyone when it comes to football – not even his own dog.

A cute video shows Messi teasing his dog with the ball, kicking it over the animal’s head every time it thinks it’s got a chance of getting hold of it.

Watch the funny footage here:

While the sceptics might need to see the the player’s nutmegging skill live to believe it, there’s no doubting Messi is one of the greatest!

A dog in Canada had to have quick reflexes when a terrifyingly huge wolf chased it through the woods.

A video of the incident was taken near a fishing lodge in northern Saskatchewan, Canada.

The camera focuses on a dark shape in the undergrowth while a white dog barks ferociously at the creature which was lying in wait.

Suddenly, the huge black wolf leaps from the floor and runs towards the dog, whose barking turns much more intense as it becomes the wolf’s target.

Watch the scary footage here:

A real life embodiment of the Big Bad Wolf, the creature appears to be about seven foot long. It springs towards the barking dog before turning back into the woods.

The brave white dog wasn’t too deterred by the wolf’s initial pounce, and ran after it into the trees. However, the wolf seemed to turn back on its competition, and the camera loses focus as the dog’s barks begin to sound pained.

The man behind the camera started to shout at the two animals, yelling out ‘hey!’, presumably in an attempt to stop them from fighting?

The dog could be heard yelping, but then the camera cuts off. Unfortunately, it’s not known what happened to the smaller dog after the video ended.

The dog’s owner, who’d filmed the scary footage, shared the video on social media.

He explained:

I work as a fishing guide in northern Saskatchewan and I shot this video on one of our trails around the lodge.

Commenters have been expressing their fear at the video, with some suggesting the black creature is a timber wolf – which have been known to grow to huge lengths.

One person explained:

It’s a timber wolf we have them here in Canada but they are rarely seen. This guy is pretty stupid allowing the dog to get that close.

Another said:

This video shocks me everytime see them ears poking up from the ground. If i saw that in real life i would be petrified. absolutely terrifying. that wolf is massive. powerful force. imagine a pack…. [sic]

A third commented:

Wow that thing was massive, the dog had no chance……unless the dog was very obedient there was no chance it would of backed down, probably protecting its owner mine would of done the same! But dam that thing was big!!!! [sic]

Other viewers aren’t convinced the creature is a normal wolf, and have instead suggested it might be some sort of supernatural being – possibly a character from Twilight.

One viewer jokingly said:

that was Jacob from twilight, that mf is abusing his role smh [sic]

Another person claimed the creature wasn’t even of the canine variety:

That wasn’t a wolf, that was a frickin dragon [sic]

Although we’re not entirely sure what happened after the video stopped recording, I think I’m going to remain optimistic and hope the dog somehow managed to get away from the terrifying creature.

At least that way I can believe this story has a happy ending.

What Celebrity Big Brothers Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves Looked Like Before Surgery Human Ken Doll A 1

The ‘Human Ken Doll’, Rodrigo Alves, has entered the Celebrity Big Brother house don’t you know.

Starting as he means to go on, dramatically, Alves has warned he’ll sup nothing but champagne, prosecco and cava.

The 34-year-old, who has spent in surplus of £500,000 on 160 procedures, claims he wants people to see ‘the real him.’

Hoping Big Brother will be fair on him, Alves has asked them to cater to his pricey organic diet and even warned them he will be bringing in his own hair straighteners.

Taking the idea of reinventing yourself to a whole new level, Alves has spent nearly half of his life transforming himself into the complete opposite of what he looked like before going under the knife.

Convinced he was born into the wrong body, he has undergone numerous surgeries in his quest to achieve ‘perfection’.

Open about the surgeries he has had, 34-year-old Rodrigo wrote on Instagram:

I was not born this way! I made myself this way. It has been a very long journey for me and it is an ongoing process.

I represent a new generation of a modern society where we have the freedom to be what you wanna be and showcase that on social network.

It feels good to be at home and to be able to let my hair down barefoot, no make-up ,no fancy clothing, no noise, only the sound of the birds singing and the breeze from the sea that blows the trees around my house.

Although Rodrigo here does sound at peace and confident within his new body, he does admit that there is still work to do.

Reportedly using ‘the best plastic surgeons’ he could find around the world, to date Rodrigo has undergone 58 operations since 2000 and plans to have many more.

Speaking to The Sun, Rodrigo talked about what is next on his journey:

I was born in the wrong body and I have spent my entire life trying to reveal the real me.

Now I’ve achieved my dream face and body I plan to stop the ageing process using stem cell technology.

I’ve already had lots of them injected into my face, scalp and bloodstream.

My aim to always look ageless and maintain my unique looks, after all there is no other man or another Rodrigo Alves that looks like me.

I get a lot of attention due to my artificial looks – but I finally love myself and that is the most important thing of all.

Being bullied at school while his parents were going through a divorce, Rodrigo had hit a new low that caused him to go under the knife.

If he’s happy now, who are we to stick our noses in slag him off? If Rodrigo wants to reach for the cosmetic stars then so be it. Takes all sorts to make up this planet.

While I don’t indulge surgery for the sake of surgery, I get my kicks by volunteering for numerous charities and saving abandoned dogs. Not that I’m bragging or anything.
