RICHARD Dreyfuss has denied exposing himself to a writer who claimed he spent YEARS sexually harassing her during the production of a 1980s TV comedy special.
Jessica Teich alleged the Jaws actor, 70, regularly made lewd comments and invitations after they met at a theatre where she worked.
Dreyfuss’ agent Barry McPherson today denied he ever exposed his genitals to Teich but said that the 70-year-old acknowledged other encounters were inappropriate.
In an interview with Vulture yesterday, Teich said she decided to speak out after Dreyfuss tweeted support for his son, Harry who went public with accusations that Kevin Spacey groped his crotch when he was 18.
In 1987, when Teich was working for Dreyfuss on an ABC show script – Funny, You Don’t Look 200: A Constitutional Vaudeville – she claims she was summoned to his trailer.
Teich claimed that Dreyfuss, who was 12 years older, exposed his genitals and “tried to draw her close to it”.

She said she left immediately, calling it an “out-of-body experience”.
Speaking about Dreyfuss’ tweet supporting his son, she said: “He was in a position of so much power over me, and I didn’t feel I could tell anyone about it.
“It just seemed so hypocritical.”
The LA-based writer also claims that Dreyfuss, who starred in Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind, would persistently try to kiss her, pass “I love you” notes and “constantly steer conversations to this yucky, insinuating thing”.

Dreyfuss, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1977, is also famous for roles in American Graffiti and Mr Holland’s Opus.
He has three children with his first wife Jeramie Rain, and he is now married to his third wife, Svetlana Erokhin.
In a statement Dreyfuss told Vulture: “I emphatically deny ever “exposing” myself to Jessica Teich, whom I have considered a friend for 30 years.
“I did flirt with her, and I remember trying to kiss Jessica as part of what I thought was a consensual seduction ritual that went on and on for many years.
“I am horrified and bewildered to discover that it wasn’t consensual. I didn’t get it.
“It makes me reassess every relationship I have ever thought was playful and mutual.”
Hollywood and other industries have been flooded with sexual harassment claims after producer Harvey Wienstein was accused of sexually assaulting and raping a number of leading actresses.

“He said, ‘We’re just going to put the dog there. What’s the problem?’ And I said, ‘No. Put an X on the floor. I am talking to an invisible dog. Why do we need an actual dog?’

“You’re never going to work in this f***ing industry again, you son of a f***ing bitch.’
“He’s so intense. I’ve never been talked to that way by anybody. Not even by a boyfriend. He was really intimidating. And I did it. But I did it without the dog.”

SONGS of Praise star Aled Jones has been taken off the air by the BBC after being accused of sexual harassment.
The former angelic choirboy, 46, faces an allegation of inappropriate behaviour from a female colleague.
The married father of two, 46, who shot to fame as a choirboy in the 1980s, is believed to be one of 25 “live cases” being investigated by the Beeb.
The allegation is believed to centre around messages and contact.
The star — who has not appeared on the BBC since last month — said sorry for his “juvenile” behaviour but denied any inappropriate contact.
A well-placed source told The Sun on Sunday: “There is an allegation that inappropriate messages and contact with a female member of staff took place.

“He’s been told by the BBC about the complaint and after it came to light he has been taken off air.”
It is believed to be one of 25 live cases of alleged sexual harassment recently highlighted by BBC deputy director-general Anne Bulford.
A spokesperson for Jones said: “Although not related to any broadcast work, Aled voluntarily agreed not to go on the BBC whilst the matter is investigated.
“Whilst he accepts that his behaviour over a decade ago was occasionally juvenile, as was that of others, he never intended to harass or distress and he strongly denies any inappropriate contact.
“He is, however, deeply sorry for any upset caused and hopes this matter is resolved soon.”
Aled’s last appearance on his BBC Radio Wales show was on October 22. The previous week he hosted Songs Of Praise from the Welsh town of Pontypridd but has not presented it since.
He is still working for commercial rivals and is due to host his normal Sunday slot for Classic FM today.
Jones, who was pictured jumping on the back of a motorbike taxi yesterday, became a household name when Walking In The Air, below, got to No 5 in the charts in 1985.

By the age of 16 he had sold more than six million albums and performed in front of the Pope, the Queen and Princess Diana.
The star, made an MBE in 2013, also hit No 1 in the classical charts with his latest album. On November 3 he tweeted his thanks for the “lovely comments” about his success before adding he had “been really sick — hopefully getting better”.
Jones, who lives in a £1.8million house in Barnes, South West London, with his wife Claire Fossett, has admitted he struggles with his image.
In 2012 he said: “It’s a bit odd people still think I’m squeaky clean.” He acknowledged it “went with the territory” when he was a schoolboy chorister but added: “I’m really just a normal bloke.”
The latest allegation comes as the BBC finds itself caught in the firestorm sparked by the Harvey Weinstein Hollywood sex scandal.
Last week it axed an Agatha Christie drama from its Christmas schedule after British actor Ed Westwick was accused of rape. He has denied all the claims against him.
A BBC spokesman said of Jones: “It is not something that we are going to comment on.”

NEYMAR has opened up on what it’s like to live as the most expensive footballer on the planet – and even waded in to the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
In an exclusive interview with Man About Town Magazine for their tenth anniversary edition, the Brazilian striker offered an amazing insight into his life, on and off the pitch.
His £198million move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain made headlines worldwide, but even that has been trumped by the sex allegations against Weinstein in the US.
And the Samba star had his own thoughts on the celeb scandal.
He said: “I’m against any kind of abuse.
“If it’s from a celebrity, an authority or any other kind of person, it’s wrong.
“As for this case, I hope justice is done.”
Much of the interview, with photos shot by Mario Testino, discussed how Neymar deals with the pressures of being a global megastar.
Yet despite his untold wealth, he is very much a family man.

The 25-year-old’s father, Neymar Santos Sr, helped negotiate his mega-money move to PSG, and his influence is not lost on his son.
“I always look for my father’s advice because he’s a wise person and someone who loves me 100 per cent,” added Neymar.
“I actually look for advice in my whole family. [But] it’s just advice. I make my own decisions.
“It’s easier to be a son; being a father means giving love, teaching and protecting your son in any way possible.
“I’m grateful for everything my father did for me and I try to do everything in double to my son.”
What are the allegations against Harvey Weinstein?
A shocking pattern of sexual allegations against producer Weinstein, 65, emerged through a series of bombshell investigations published by The New York Times and The New Yorker,
More than 60 women have come forward to accuse Weinstein of sex crimes – but the final total could be much higher.
Following the allegations, his British wife Georgina Chapman announced she was leaving him saying: “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain.”
His membership of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts was suspended as details of the allegations emerged.
Weinstein fled to an addiction clinic amid fears he might skip the country and evade justice.
Neymar became a to Davi Lucca da Silva Santos back in 2011 with former partner Carolina Nogueira Dantas.
And although football has become the Brazilian’s obsession over the years, he is in no doubt as to what is the most important thing in his life.
He added: “Davi Lucca is the greatest gift that God could ever send me.
“He is my only son, so he taught me everything about being a father.”
Neymar’s £198m move from Barcelona to PSG was seen by many as a sign that the Beautiful Game had taken a turn for the worst.
And even he admitted the shock value that has now creeped into the game – led by his mammoth transfer fee.
He said: “I do understand. Especially in the world we live in, because it’s an impressive number.
“But nowadays that’s how football is and I keep playing my football.”
And he had some special advice to ensure potential stars maintain a love for the game ahead of a love for the luxury it brings.
He added: “Train as hard as you can. Fall in love with the ball, sport and with what you do on the pitch.
“Play to be happy!”
Neymar is very public about his belief that there is a God, and it is clear he sees the greater being is guiding along the right path not just in his career, but also in life.
And although he may be expected to have many more years to live being just 25, Neymar acknowledges he has lots still to achieve.
“I don’t think or worry with death too much,” he added. “I live to do the right thing.
“Being a good person to my son, my family, friends and my fans. I like to celebrate life.”
Neymar’s exclusive interview is in the latest edition of Man About Town magazine, with photo’s shot by world-respected photographer Mario Testino.
