N’GOLO KANTE has dealt Chelsea a fresh injury blow as he looks set to miss the rest of this month with a hamstring injury.
The influential midfielder is back at the club’s training ground undergoing treatment for the problem which forced him out of international duty at the weekend.

There are fears that Antonio Conte will be without Kante for the next three weeks[/caption]
It is feared Kante could be out for two to three weeks – which would rule him out of Chelsea’s important Champions League double-header against Italians Roma.
Player of the Year Kante joins Chelsea’s record signing and leading goalscorer Alvaro Morata on the treatment table in a punishing spell for the Premier League champions.
Morata was sent home from Spain duty without kicking a ball last week after suffering a grade two hamstring strain playing against Manchester City on September 30.
He will miss this weekend’s trip to struggling Crystal Palace who are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the Premier League.

Kante has suffered a similar knock while playing for France against Bulgaria on Saturday and initial treatment reveals it could take some time to nurse him back to fitness.
The double injury blow will rob Chelsea boss Antonio Conte of two of his most important players just when he needs to get his title defence back on track after losing 1-0 at home to rivals City two weeks ago.
Chelsea may look to loan out rebel forward Charly Musonda in the January transfer window following his bizarre outburst at them.
Musonda, 20, took to social media to take out his frustration at lack of first team action on Tuesday – and was given a stern dressing down by club officials as payback.

Musonda wrote: “You sacrifice, you work hard, harder, you give more than what’s expected, and often more than you can, because you love what you do and clearly more than you should. ‘And what do you get back? Literally nothing… done.”
Musonda deleted the post but first team boss Antonio Conte has been made aware of the incident.
Musonda spent one season on loan at Spanish side Real Betis and scored one goal in 14 appearances. Chelsea will now look to farm him out again in a bid to cool him down and also use the experience to prove he deserves a first team place.

The reigning European champions will now need to go up against fearsome trio Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani after Friday’s exciting draw.
Real Madrid were always set to face a tougher draw than they’re used to, after slipping to second in their group.
Zinedine Zidane’s Los Blancos finished behind Tottenham in Group H, after dropping EIGHT points on the way.
Meanwhile, PSG edged Bayern Munich to top spot in Group B, both of whom earned 15 points out of a possible 18.
Real Madrid vs PSG looks set to be an astonishing tie, after the Ligue 1 giants set the new record for goals in a group stage, with 25.
The draw now means one of the tournament favourites will be going home early, opening the door for one of England’s FIVE clubs to go all the way.

However, it was the worst possible morning for Chelsea, who – after slumping to second in their group – ended up drawing Barcelona in the last-16.
Liverpool and Manchester City enjoyed seemingly favourable draws though – going up against Porto and Basel respectively.
