ROSIE Webster has revealed she had a wild lesbian experience in Coronation Street, only with a twist.

The ditzy window washer – who is played by actress Helen Flanagan in the ITV soap – spoke in tonight’s episode of her dipping in the Sapphic waters much like her actual lesbian sister Sophie.

Rosie was thrilled to be telling all about her lesbian fling

“This place was like really retro, steampunk and there was this really cool looking girl,” Rosie said, setting the scene for Sophie and Rana Nazir.

“She had like spiky hair, leathers, dead skinny, she could have been a rock star.

“And I thought, ‘Right, I’ll show you Sophie Webster’.

“So anyway I really turned it on, chatted her up and went back to her place.”

Rana and Sophie were all ears for Rosie’s tale
Unfortunately her lesbian romance was just a case of mistaken identity

But as an increasingly intrigued Rana asked for more information on Rosie’s first gay experience, Rosie revealed it wasn’t all quite as it seems.

She added: “Well yeah, but when it got down to it she turned out to be a guy anyway.”

“You know I did try my best so that must count for something,” she added, super proud of herself.

“Well what can I say? We’re here for a good time not a long time,” she said as she nipped to the loo.

DANIEL Osbourne has been left heartbroken after ex Sinead Tinker got engaged to her boyfriend Chesney Brown.

The Weatherfield Gazette reporter – who is played by actor Rob Mallard in the ITV soap – walked into the pub to see Sinead celebrating her engagement and was immediately devastated.

An oblivious Sinead celebrated her engagement without thinking of Daniel

He rushed out of the pub and threw up in the street after the shocking news.

Earlier in the episode Chesney discovered his ex Katy Armstrong had been killed ina car crash in Portugal and raced out of hospital to get to his son Joseph, who survived.

As he was leaving, Sinead impulsively asked him to marry him but it took him the car journey to the airport to call her and accept.

“When Ches was leaving, I proposed. I pick my moments, don’t I?”” Sinead said to Beth in the pub.

Chesney was happy to say yes to Sinead

Meanwhile in the car to the airport, Chesney told Tyrone: "Sinead asked me to marry her. I didn't say anything, I had to go."

Calling Sinead, he asked her if she asked out of pity but she insisted it wasn't.

"It's like I said, I saw you today being so decisive, caring and strong. It made me realise how much I loved you. It took me by surprise. It's how I feel.

"I want it, because I want you. I only ever feel complete when we're together Ches."

Sinead celebrated with her family with some champagne on the house
However Beth couldn't resist ruining Daniel's night
He fled the pub and threw up immediately outside

Eventually, he said: "I will, marry you, I will. I just needed to be sure we're doing it for the right reasons."

Announcing it to the bar, Beth made a huge fuss and the bells rang out in the bar.

And when Daniel arrived Beth took great delight in ruining his good mood by telling him the good news.

"Sinead's engaged to Ches, earlier this evening," she said.

"That's wiped the smile off your face. Now maybe you'll get the message and stay away from you."

KATY Armstrong has been killed off in Coronation Street.

The receptionist – who was played by actress Georgia May Foote up until 2015 in the ITV soap – died in a car crash in Portugal, leaving Chesney Brown to rush to the country to get to his son Joseph.

Katy won’t be back on the cobbles again after her shock death

Katy’s sister Izzy received the horrifying news in a phone call on the cobbles.

“No, she can’t be, no,” said Izzy as she received the horrifying news.

Heading to tell the awful news with Fizz, Tyrone and Sinead, Izzy almost couldn’t get the words out.

“Katy’s dead, in a car crash, she was killed instantly,” she said while sobbing.

Izzy was distraught at the news her younger sister had been killed
She was comforted by Sinead and Fizz as she broke the news to them

Fortunately Katy and Chesney’s son Joseph survived the crash with Izzy’s mum looking after him.

The shock news came as Chesney recovered in hospital after he suffered a horrifying seizure in the kebab shop.

However, after hearing the news that his son needed him, he leapt out of bed and discharged himself against medical advice to get to Joseph.

She left Weatherfield in 2015 to join her mother in Portugal having grown tired of life on the cobbles.

Chesney insisted on leaving the hospital and racing to his son’s side

The Sun Online exclusively revealed the news of Katy's off-screen death last week.

A TV source said: “As Katy, Georgia was really popular with Corrie fans and had some big storylines. But bosses have clearly decided that she has no future in the soap, and have ruled out a return by killing her off.

“You might have thought they would  show such a well-known character being written out on screen but that wasn’t to be.”

CORPSES ON THE COBBLES The most epic Coronation Street deaths of all time – from a watery grave to death-by-tram

Georgia spent five years playing Katy before leaving in 2015 to take part on Strictly Come Dancing.

She said at the time: “I’d decided the time was right to go before I met with producer Stuart Blackburn to discuss Katy’s future.

“It was a mutual decision for me to leave, but I  wish I’d got in first.”

CORONATION Street’s episodes tonight had viewers had viewers quite confused as Amy Barlow and Asha Alahan seemed to teleport across the cobbles.

In tonight’s episodes Cathy Matthews and Brian Packham nearly crashed into David Platt after Amy and Asha threw paint on their car as they headed off to a Boney M tribute concert for the evening but after their punishments in the second episode the girls travelled across the cobbles in seconds.

The girls performed an hysterical routine to Boney M’s Rivers of Babylon
Cathy and Brian were ready for bed as they watched the performance

However viewers soon realised that something was amiss with the timelines and continuity asthe girls transported themselves across the cobbles in seconds and pulled off a full costume change.

After the car incident Brian and Cathy called Amy and Asha’s parents together to discuss matters and Tracy thew them out of the house.

It then emerged that Tracy and Dev had agreed that the girls should perform a Boney M tribute act for Brian and Cathy, in full costume, in their house as Cathy got ready for bed.

However, just seconds later, the girls were back on the street in their normal clothes playing catch as Summer Spellman approached them to speak, again in broad daylight.

However, seconds after finishing their performance the girls were back on the street playing catch
They appeared back on the other side of cobbles as if by magic

Asked if they were punished Amy told Summer that she just had to wash Roy’s car as punishment after the pair vowed never to reveal their musical gifts to the world.

But then as Summer and Todd headed home to make their dinner, other residents were seen laying the table ready for their evening meals.

However in another time-jump minutes later David Platt was seen laying in his garden with his son Max as Shona Ramsey turned up with a telescope in total darkness.

Viewers were convinced that Amy and Asha had become the fastest performers in history, rather than just teleporting across Weatherfield.

Just minutes after that it was darkness

“Amy and Asha are dressed up and singing then the next scene they’re outside playing catch,” tweeted one flummoxed viewer.

“Quick change for Asha and Amy from singing to Cathy?” said another.

Fortunately most viewers were just in tears of hysterics as the pair performed their own Boney M tribute act.

“Amy and Asha singing Babylon for Cathy and Brian has me dead,” said one viewer.

Another added multiple crying with laughter emojis and the words: “Amy and Asha as Boney M – PRICELESS!”
