When is Children In Need 2017?

This year’s Children In Need will be on November 17 at 7:30pm on BBC1.

To date, the charity event has raised more than £890 million to help make a difference in the lives of the children who needed it.

On the website, they write: “We are currently supporting around 2,400 projects that are working with children facing a range of disadvantages.

After all six couple danced an energetic Jive to Elton John’s I’m Still Standing, the judges crowned Mark victorious.

Mark, 56, is an actor, television and radio presenter and joined Blue Peter in 1986.

During his time on the show, he did such things as being strapped to the sails of Outwood Windmill in Surrey and accidentally knocking the head off a man made of Lego.

He appeared extremely shocked to have beaten his fellow Blue Peter presenters, including Anthea Turner, Konnie Huq and Tim Vincent.

Mark had some stiff competition for the Pudsey glitterball though, as Anthea, 57, carried out a series of impressive lifts with her partner Brendan Cole.

The couple even climbed on the judges desk for one risky lift, but it wasn’t enough for them to triumph.

Meanwhile Tim, 44, showed off his strength as he lifted his own partner Dianne Buswell over his head and spun her round.

Konnie and Diane-Louise Jordan looked spectacular in their fringed dresses and were praised for their flicks and kicks, while the youngest participant, Radzi Chinyanganya, 31, did the standing splits which impressed head judge Shirley Ballas.

PETER Kay shocked fans on tonight’s Children in Need by revealing there WILL be another series of his hit comedy, Car Share.

Fans were left bereft back in May when the show ended on a cliffhanger between his character John and his co-star Kayleigh, played by Sian Gibson.

Peter insisted there wouldn’t be any more episodes – not even a Christmas Special – but on tonight’s Children in Need he revealed there would be after all.

He said: “Well it’s been a very hard secret to keep.”

Sian added: “I’m glad it’s out in the open” to which Peter replied he was too.

He continued: “We were getting constant abuse about it, people were very angry that the series ended in that way, but there is a season finale explaining what happened the next day after the big argument.”

Peter said the episode was “coming soon” before revealing they had also filmed an unscripted episode as well.

He said: “It’s half an hour of us basically making the script up and improvising.”

But Sian quickly added: “[It’s] nothing to do with the story”.

Peter agreed: “Yes it’s just us having a laugh but they are coming on screen next year, so that’s a bit of a surprise for everybody.”

Viewers were disappointed earlier this year when the show appeared to end for good with John sadly giving Kayleigh the brush off despite her finally revealing she was in love with him.

Fans of the show had been crossing their fingers that the pair, who have travelled to work together every day since 2015, would eventually become a couple.

But at the end of the second series Kayleigh was left deflated as they travelled home from work.

She asked: “What are we?” but turning up the music on the car stereo, John attempted to avoid the question.

When she asked again, he explained that “it is better to stay away from it all” following his heartbreak over ex-girlfriend Charlotte.

After being accused of “living in a fairy tale”, Kayleigh tells John: “I don’t live in a fairy tale, John.

“I just want to be happy.”

Laying her cards on the table, she brands him “infuriating”, before declaring: “I can’t waste any more time John, I don’t have time to waste. I’m getting out.”

John replies: “Of where?”

Kayleigh tells him: “Out of your car and your life.

“Because I love you, John, and it kills me you don’t feel the same.”

Making their way around Albert Square, each actor got their own segment to show off their vocals, with Shona in particular stunning viewers with her version of On My Own from Les Miserables.

Viewers were full of praise for the cast on Twitter, with one writing: “Wow… incredible performances from the whole cast of @bbceastenders for #CIN2017” while another added: “Another fantastic performance @bbceastenders always a highlight of the night & so many amazing singers”.

A third agreed, writing: “OMG the EastEnders cast are SO GOOD! Give them all parts in Les Mis!”

The viewers couldn’t get enough of the performances, which also saw Richard Blackwood singing ‘I’m Getting Married in the Morning’ from My Fair Lady, which culminated in him meeting his ‘bride’ in the Queen Vic, only to discover it was Dean Gaffney.

One wrote: “Every year I think the cast of @bbceastenders won’t be able too previous years performance & every year they prove me wrong! This year they have outdone themselves with their musical extravaganza.”

Another tweeted: “Loving the #eastenders cast doing musical songs!” and a third added: “#EastEnders is literally the best thing I’ve seen on tv all year”.
